Games Theory Motivational Poster

I've never found an interview where the film's brilliant production designer, Ken Adam mentioned that his design for the War Room conference table was inspired by a poker table on steroids. However, blend that imagery with the fact that the mathematical principles of Games Theory was first applied to poker and then, later, (under the influence of John Nash at the RAND Corporation) to America's nuclear Cold War foreign policy and you have a nightmarishly absurdist mise en scene.
